Fishing Maine ia
 The diversity in Maine fishing is as great as the State is large. Ranging from Mountains to Coastal plains giving vast amounts of water shed to it's numerous lakes and ponds, down it's brooks streams and rivers.

The vast range of water temperatures gives us a huge diversity in types of fish living in these waters. The joy of the fishing experience can be attained by all ages whether seasoned fishermen or first time angler.

Getting hooked on fishing can be a very gratifying experience. Once hooked there are no limits of the enjoyment.

  I understand the number of lakes in Maine is an astounding figure 5785 lakes and ponds over one acre. Over half of these are ten acres or more. I haven't gotten to them all as yet but keep trying.

With there being 5000 rivers , streams and brooks totaling over 37,000 miles of flowing water there is a lot floatible water.

Might need a boat or canoe maybe both to get to them all.
